Featured Special Program
Brianna Blasco was diagnosed with leukemia at 18 months old. Her wish was to have a playhouse fit for a princess. The Home Builders Care program together with Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants wishes like these everyday to children just like Brianna with life-threatening medical conditions.
Brianna now has a new life size playhouse complete with wooden porch, balcony and even a flight of stairs to reach the second floor. Construction on the playhouse, which mimics a Queen Anne facade, was completed in two months and, with the help of a crane, the separate pieces were assembled in the Blasco's backyard. Rebecca Villicana, president and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Southern Arizona expressed, "We're just so grateful to the home builder and everybody that's been involved." Todd Stevens, co-president and founder of Hacienda Builders, estimates the cost of the playhouse around $20,000 which was donated in time and materials by Levelline Framing, Inc. and the Home Builders Care program.
Levelline Framing, Inc. looks forward to continued association with this program and fulfilling the wishes of children like Brianna throughout Central Arizona. With the help of Make-A-Wish-Foundation, that goal is within reach. Together we can all make a difference in a child's life.
